John Taylor Academy is situated approximately 4 miles north east of Stowmarket, Suffolk, on land adjoining the A140 between Little Stonham and Mendlesham. It is easily reached by car via the A14; train via Ipswich station or by flights into Stanstead Airport. Although the A140 is one of the main routes into Norwich, care has been taken to set most of the buildings well away from the main road. (See Map of the School)
